Superior Design, Quality, Function, Durability & Longevity. Nothing else even compares!
There are several other mailbox manufacturers who refer to their mailboxes as "The Ultimate", but take a look at the following 6 features to see why our product is clearly the only Mailbox worthy of this title -
The Ultimate Mailbox: (Click here to see what's wrong with "Traditional Style" Mailboxes)
- Security - Are your deliveries safe from thieves?
- Size - Is your mailbox large enough to receive business-size envelopes, magazines, parcels and packages.
- Storage - Can your mailbox securely store more than a day or two worth of mail, so that you are able to travel for business or pleasure without having to stop your mail delivery services?
- Safety - Can you safely collect your deliveries without having to step into the street?
- Strength - Will your mailbox stand-up to strikes from passing vehicle mirrors and vandals?
- Style - Does your mailbox enhance your home's curb appeal or detract from it and will it still look good year after year?
Ours does... What else could you possibly want from your Mailbox?
Note: If this mailbox is larger and more mailbox than you need, then consider our original Mail Column which is about half the overall size and also about half the cost.

Years from now, will your mailbox look as good
as it did when you first purchased it?
|
Ours will - These beautiful mailboxes are finished with a finely textured powder coated finish. The result is a coating that will stand up to its surroundings, and being located street-side your mailbox needs to be tough. This finish is extremely resistant to scratches and chips, and the colors were chosen for their resistance to the suns powerful rays.
Salt is an extremely corrosive thing, so whether you live near the salty air of the ocean or in the colder climates where salt is used to prevent snow from freezing on the roads, corrosion is a big problem with most mailboxes and mailbox posts. You have probably seen other aluminum mailboxes that turned white and some if not all of their paint has fallen off the mailbox or its post. This is due to improper preparation to the aluminum itself. At Janzer we understand that this unseen preparation is every bit as important as the visible top coating, and we know from our 20+ years of experience what it takes to ensure that the paint properly and permanently adheres to our products.

"And unlike any other mailbox manufacturer, if this or any of our other Lifetime Series Products should ever rust, peel, flake or even if they are damaged from vandals, nature or any other possible way. We will replace them for half price!"

|
|
The Design itself is inferior and out of date for todays needs:
- The mailbox sits out front of the post like a target for vandals, passing vehicles etc.
- These mailboxes are too small for more than a day or two of mail deliveries, so if you travel you will need to stop your mail delivery at your local post office and restart delivery when you return.
- Traditional mailboxes either do not provide any security for your delivered mail, or those that offer optional locking inserts have delivery slots that are way too small, making it difficult to deliver more than only a few pieces of mail at a time. Additionally the entire mailbox can be knocked off its post and carried away.
- Traditional style mailboxes will need to be replaced every year or so, due to their inherently flawed design. And if they should happen to avoid damage, then the vast majority are simply not built to last. They will either rust, peel or fade and quickly detract from the appearance of your otherwise beautiful home.

Why Mailboxes?
Back in 1986 Janzer was started when our founder Thomas F. Janzer needed a new mailbox and could not find one worthy of his home. After looking at every mailbox he passed on the road, he realized just how ugly and inadequate mailboxes really were. "Why do people spend so much money improving their homes, yet their mailboxes look so bad and are at the very front of their property?" And since he was unable to find an attractive quality mailbox, he decided to design and build his own.
How to Improve the Traditional Style Mailbox?
After designing a few traditional styles, he then began to re-think how a mailbox should look and function. Too many mailboxes were hanging off their posts probably damaged by cars or kids with baseball bats, that he asked "Why is the mailbox sticking out in front of the post?" His answer to his own question was .Why not just make the post itself the actual mailbox?
The Introduction and benefits of the Janzer Mail Column:
- Nothing will be sticking out to become damaged or knocked off.
- The entire post column could fill with mail, so home owners can travel without having to worry about stopping and re-starting their mail services.
- A column would allow mail to be locked inside and safe from thieves, without restricting the amount of mail that could be delivered.
Evolution to The Ultimate Mailbox:
Several years ago we noticed several trends developing such as the increase in identity theft and also the number of products being ordered online for delivery to the home. These trends brought on the evolution of the Mail Column into The Ultimate Mailbox, a product that can not only secure huge amounts of mail, but it can also receive and securely store large packages as well.
