Do we manufacture our
products or are we just another Re-Seller?
Over 90 percent of the products we offer are manufactured
by us. However, every now and then we find other unique products
that meet our high quality standards and also fit into our
"Business and Home Front Enhancing" product lines,
which have been growing steadily since 1986. Rest assured
that we provide the same 5 year warranty and half price damage
guarantee for ALL the products that we offer.
How long will it take
to receive our products?
The vast majority of our products ship within 2 to 5 business
days from the time they are ordered. Occasionally we may run
out of work-in-process stock and it may take 2 weeks to replenish
our inventory.
In the rarest of circumstances if raw materials are unavailable
it may take 4 weeks to replenish such stock.
Delay Notification
If your order cannot ship within 5 business days, we will
contact you via email or phone.
Shipping Confirmation
When your order ships you will receive an email containing
your products tracking numbers.
When is your credit
card charged?
We will not charge your credit card until your product has
been shipped to you.
Will my Custom Address
Lettering be on my product when it arrives?
Yes, if you order address lettering it will be pre-installed
prior to leaving our facility for delivery to your Home or
Business. However, if you order post address numbers with
your Designer mailbox system, you will need to install them
yourself because some customers prefer more or less space
between the numbers and also differ in their preference of
placement on the post. Applying these numbers is extremely
easy, simply peel the backing off the 3M "VHB" Very
High Bond tape and press onto the post. Of course, if you
specify such placement we will gladly attach these numbers
for you at no additional charge!
How difficult is it
to assemble and install our products?
Receiving customer feedback for over 20 years has enabled
us to improve as well as simplify our product assembly. While
all of our smaller products are fully assembled here at Janzer,
it is not possible or practical to ship a mailbox and post
system in its fully assembled state. However, our post systems
are simple to assemble using their included self threading
screws and pre-drilled holes. The handy homeowner can certainly
assemble their own mailbox system... But due to the variations
and uncertainties hidden beneath the ground, we recommend
that you leave installation to one of our professional installers.
Those who have run into rocks or existing concrete when digging,
can attest that such circumstances can more than triple the
normal installation time!
Average Installation
Time?
Depending on the ground itself as well as the outside temperatures,
the proper tools etc., installations can take as little as
one hour and as much as four or more hours to complete. Regardless
of the time installation takes, you will be charged the same
preset amount for having our product professionally installed!
How do I request professional
installation?
After you "Build" your custom product their will
be a page summarizing your customization. This page displays
the installation fee for your area and you simply select the
checkbox if you would like to have your mailbox system professionally
installed.
Are there any additional
or hidden Installation costs?
Absolutely NOT, the displayed installation cost is what you
will be charged and no more than that.
If I request professional
installation where will the product be shipped?
We will ship your products to the installer so they will know
that all the necessary components have arrived and are free
of any shipping damage. The installer will usually pre-assemble
the products and will then call you to inform you of the installation
day.
Is it necessary for
me to be home at the time of installation?
It is NOT necessary that you be home at the time of installation,
but we ask that you provide a phone number where you can be
reached in the rare case that the post needs to be relocated
due to unforeseen circumstances that may be hidden beneath
the ground.
What if my product
is damaged?
If damaged your product is protected by our Exclusive Janzer
Half Price Damage Guarantee!
Return Policy
If you receive a product from us and you are not satisfied
with the quality, simply return it within 4 weeks for a full
refund less shipping charges. We do ask that you call us first
to let us know what to expect and we will also ask you to
write a Return Authorization Number(RA#) on the carton next
to the shipping address. Certain custom items such as porcelain
address plates and illumadress engraved signs are not refundable
because they are customized with your address and cannot be
changed to another address after they are produced. Note:
Installation charges are non-refundable and posts that are
installed cannot be returned.
Who will I talk to if I have a question
or problem?
Instead of hiring a secretary to simply take messages but
has limited product knowledge, we would rather you talk to
someone with answers. That is why you will talk to a Janzer
Family member when you call or email us. We are proud to back
our products with our name and our name with our products!
Talking directly with our customers enables us to use their
suggestions to improve our products and services. We do have
standard policies that help our business run smooth and efficiently,
but not all problems are black and white. As owners we have
the ability to better solve such problems and also to ensure
customers are treated as we ourselves would like to be treated.
We view "problems" as opportunities and therefore
as one more way to separate ourselves from our competitors.
There are times when we simply cannot assist all our customers
at the same time... If you do get our answering machine, please
leave a message. And know that when you do speak with us you
will get our full attention instead of telling you to hold
while answering another call.
