The Janzer Corporation Offers Professional Mailbox Installation Services Throughout the U.S.*
At Janzer we realize that many homeowners either do not have the skills to install their new mailbox or they simply prefer to spend their free-time doing something more fun. We also understand that locating and screening a reliable handyman for the job on your own, can be less than fun and have varying results with unknown final costs. When you utilize our professional installation services, you receive a set price upfront for standard installations and you also eliminate the possibility of the "blame-game" should there be any unforeseen issues. So you won't experience the "It was the manufacturer's fault" or "It was the installer's fault". If for any reason there is an issue with the product or the installation, you simply contact Janzer and we will make it right.

Utilize Our Seasoned Installers And Let Us Worry About The Details
When you order a mailbox and post system from Janzer, we offer the convenient option of professional mailbox installation service, so you won't have to worry about the troublesome details. We have a large network of installation dealers* across the nation, and many have been selling and installing our products for over 20 years.

How Do You Request Professional Installation?
On the last page in the ordering process, simply check the "professional installation" checkbox. When you choose to have us handle the installation, we will ship your mailbox and post system directly to the installer who will then contact you with an installation date.

One Flat Upfront Fee For All Standard Removal And Installation Jobs

  • A "standard installation" is either a new installation or an existing wood or metal mailbox post measuring up to approximately 5" in diameter that is buried in the soil.
  • It may or may not be buried in concrete and there can be no objects around the mailbox post impeding the installer from performing the installation.
  • If you have shrubs, bushes, trees, fences or anything else around your mailbox system, then we require that you email us a picture so that we can determine if additional work and therefore an additional fee will be necessary.
  • If you have any doubts about whether your mailbox is not standard or whether an object around or near your mailbox will cause any issues, then simply email us a picture to be sure and we will let you know.
  • The installer's price the job based on only having to make one visit to the installation site. So if the installation is not a "standard installation", then you may be charged an additional fee for their additional work/time.

So if you have any doubts, it is best to make them known to us upfront, and we will let you know our recommendations before beginning.

What You Can Expect with Professional Mailbox Installation?
Your existing mailbox and post will be removed and your new post system will be installed in the same location. Occasionally when an excessive amount of concrete was used for the previous installation, the installer may need to cut the old post off below ground level and install your new post system nearby. Though if your new post needs to be installed more than a foot or two away from the existing location, the installer will contact you to ensure the new location is best. Your old mailbox and post will be left for pick-up by your weekly trash service. Depending on your local township rules, you may need to schedule a pickup for the old post.
Note: The front of the mailbox should be set-back approximately 6" back from the edge of the street. This is to avoid harm or damage to pedestrians or vehicles passing by in the street. So if your existing mailbox was too close to the street, our new mailbox will be moved back the proper distance from the street.

  • You do not need to be home during the installation unless of course you prefer to be, though if you are not, then you need to be reachable via phone in case there are any questions regarding the installation.
  • Your new mailbox system (including the options you ordered) will be assembled and installed adhering to the regulations of all postal codes.
  • Your lawn, sidewalk, and street will be returned to its original state after your mailbox and post installation is complete.
  • At Janzer, we strive to continually put forth only the most reliable and dependable customer service for our customers.

If you have any questions, comments or special requests, please feel free to contact us at any time.

* The mailbox installer's utilized by Janzer are not employees of Janzer, they are independent contractors sub-contracted by Janzer for mailbox installation service. Janzer does not profit from the installation of our products, we simply offer the option of mailbox installation services as a courtesy to our customers. We do not offer installation for any products other than our own.
